A

As part of the preparation for the African Broadcasting Union’s Summit on artificial intelligence, the Director General of the AUB, Grégoire Ndjaka, accompanied by Michel Kenmoe, Regional Council for Communication at UNESCO, Dakar met with the Chairman and CEO of the France Médias Monde group, Marie-Christine Saragosse; Africa development director at France Médias Monde, Jean-Marc Belchi and Africa development and partnerships manager at CFI, Laurence Burckel, on August 31 in Paris.

France Médias Monde, UNESCO and CFI are strategic partners of the African Broadcasting Union, AUB in the development of the media in general and the audiovisual industry in particular. This is evidenced by the many partnerships forged over several years for the training of journalists on topics as varied as « Media and information education », « Management of the Covid-19 crisis by the African media » and “the fight against Fake News”.

The AUB Artificial Intelligence Summit will bring together the entire African broadcasting family as well as experts, academics, students, AI and robotics innovators, business owners and members of the governments of the member states of the AUB as well as representatives of other Broadcasting Unions
